"A Family Legacy at GBMC"

Jacqueline Thompson's Story

My relationship with G.B.M.C. started 51 years ago:

1964 - My dad (Eddie Mettille) was the General Foreman for Whiting and Turner Contractors, an Ironworker Local 16 who helped build GBMC.

1986 - My oldest daughter (Renee) was born at GBMC.

1988 - My youngest daughter (Laura) was born at GBMC.

1992 - 1994 I attended the GBMC School of Radiologic Technology.

2010 - I was awarded Radiologic Technologist of the Year by the students of G.B.M.C.'s Radiology School.

23 years later, I am still on staff at GBMC's Radiology Department and still enjoy helping our physicians to see inside our patients.
